Hi!
I'm Filippo Zorzi,
aka Fofila

I am a UX Designer with a strong passion for web development and curious about interactions between humans and the digital world.

Since I was young I devoted most of my time taking part in different projects and volunteering activities. I strongly believe that the secret for being a better human lies in helping others. Therefore I aim to achieve this goal with my work as a Ux designer, being for me the most effective way to make my best skills available.

Projects

HP HMI - HP guideline

This project was requested by the hydroelectric power production department of a large Italian utility.

The goal was to create guidelines for the definition of the new software interfaces used for the management of plants and dams. To better manage production and above all alarm situations it was necessary to create a UI System that followed the lines defined as High Performance (High performance HMI Handbook - Bill Hollifield).

This was one of the first time in the world that the user experience and the psycometry was used in a software for the hydroelectric energy production.

Here they speak about the project (but not about me ☹)

Management System - UX Research

A large cooperative from Trentino had problems with a new management software which, instead of speeding up the work, slowed it down. This led to discontent and the increasingly frequent non-use of the same.

My goal was to understand the causes of bad mood (pain points) and try to solve them by proposing prototypes to the software house. The work process was structured with a ratio of 9 hours of research to 1 of prototyping, this large amount of time dedicated to research with users gave me the opportunity to study workflows, relations between offices and the needs of users.

SRM Shop - European Project

In Opencontent I was able to collaborate in the European project Cinderela. The project aims to create a one-stop-shop for SRM and SRM-based products and a collection of supporting documents.

My role was to manage the communication between the platform development partners and the developers as well as manage the validative and exploratory focus group sessions with the other Cinderela partners and stakeholders.

Pharma APP - E-shop

The request was to create the UI of an e-shop app for pharmaceuticals.

Given the limited time available, it was decided to use Material design because the client company did not have its own Design system. In this project, no market research or exploratory interview was done because the request was precise and the deadline too close. Usability tests were done cyclically in the development of the application and not in the development of the UI.

ERP - UX Research

My collaboration with CLA began with a research project for a program to help small member cooperatives.

The research, structured in market analysis, interviews and field research, aimed to find a software solution already on the market that could meet the needs of small sanitation and cleaning companies. From the interviews and from the field research I collected the pain points, fundamental in the evaluation of the software collected in the market analysis. By giving weight to the feature of the software based on the painpoints collected and the objectives of the CLA, it was possible to give a vote to the software, to be able to recommend one to the member cooperatives.
